Wayside Exhibits

I have designed and developed multiple wayside exhibits – outdoor interpretive displays found within parks – to connect visitors directly with the park's features. Located at key spots, these exhibits offer captions to the landscape or view a visitor is currently experiencing, immediately linking information to the place and enhancing understanding and appreciation. My work included designing the look, writing the interpretive text, capturing the photos, and finding historical details to bring the stories of these places to life. Many times I lead workshops or "wayside one-days" with a team live writing and designing wayside exhibits.
